We are excited to have completed another profitable year at Workmen’s Auto and are looking forward to overcoming the competitive forces in the constantly changing personal insurance arena.
We have responded to the requests of our customers and producers by offering multiple payment options designed to help us retain our customers longer, we have appointed new producers that are interested in offering our solid reputation as one of their product choices and we continue to reward our best performing producers through highly competitive compensation packages all while slashing our corporate overhead by making more of our costs variable to better position ourselves in the current business cycle. Our target market of “preferred non-standard” business continues to get squeezed by the large mass market national carriers through their massive investments in advertising and lowered underwriting standards. However, unlike many of our competitors that are being consolidated or withering away due to these challenges, we are using the opportunity to focus our efforts on only those customers that look for a value added, solid relationship with their local insurance expert. Our integrity is the key as we reward our most loyal producers and customers by delivering excellence via fairness in action and with a focus on people in a way that the large, faceless corporate competitors will never be able to match.
